The Theatre Reunion Weekend features a special performance of our 2018-19 Mainstage season opener, The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood, as well as receptions, industry breakout sessions with distinguished alumni, building tours, and a keynote talk by alum Anna D. Shapiro ’90, HDR ’15, artistic director of Steppenwolf Theatre. ShopColumbia 10th Anniversary Celebration and Artist Reunion
Since opening in fall of 2008, ShopColumbia has represented over 1200 artists and generated over $350,000 of revenue for Shop artists. The Anniversary Celebration will include a reunion of ShopColumbia artists and a reception for the exhibition Then and Now featuring work from Andrea Dunn ’16, Sam Kirk ’04, and JJ McLuckie ’17. Additional activities include performances from DJ Club, a photo booth, and refreshments. Free and open to the public! Event updates can be found on Facebook.

Hair Trigger 40th Anniversary Library Exhibit and Reception
Hair Trigger is an annual student anthology published by the English and Creative Writing Department. The Hair Trigger exhibit at the Columbia Library will feature 40 years of the magazine’s covers, awards, and historical background.  The reception will honor its creator, John Schultz, and guests will have an opportunity to share their Hair Trigger experiences.
