Alumna Creates Comedy Opportunities for Women Kelsie Huff ’03 created Kates University, a seven-week, all-female comedy program, based on her popular comedy showcase The Kates, which runs monthly at several locations in the Chicago area.
Alumni Collaborate at NBC ICYMI – Alumni Carl Seaton ’94 and Gwen Sigan ’11 collaborated on the January 3 episode of NBC’s Chicago PD. A staff writer on the show, Sigan wrote the episode “The Rabbit Hole,” and Seaton directed. He has directed other television shows including BET’s Rebel.

NYC Hosts J-Term Students Columbia College Chicago’s Advertising, Marketing, and PR students are currently visiting New York City to meet with various ad agencies and firms as part of a January-term course. The students had the opportunity to meet with our outstanding NYC alumni working in the advertising, marketing, and PR fields at a gathering hosted by Dick Joseph `14 at Warner Music Group.
