Course Catalogs and Course Descriptions
College catalogs and course descriptions can be obtained on the college's website.
College catalogs from 1925 to 2009 are available in the College Archives. Beginning with the 2010 academic year, the college catalog was only produced in digital format. Catalogs from 2010 to the present are at catalog.colum.edu.
Campus Visitation Policy
Beginning July 1, 2019, alumni are welcome to visit campus with a scheduled appointment, to attend an event, or with a space rental agreement. When entering a campus building, please be prepared to present a government issued ID and sign-in at the security station.
When working with departments, a scheduled appointment is required. If you are visiting campus on a longer-term basis, for up to 90 days, please work with the department to coordinate your visitation with Campus Safety and Security.
Columbia College Chicago Library: Beginning July 1, 2019, alumni are welcome to access the library with a scheduled appointment. Please visit the Library website or call 312-369-7900 for more information.
Photography Department: For alumni use of high-quality photo printer, please contact Robert Linkiewicz, Director of Facilities.
Audio Arts and Acoustics Department: For alumni use of studio space for recording, when available, please contact Tony Miccolis, Studio Manager.
Music Department: For alumni to reserve practice space contact, please contact Steve Hadley, Technical Director.
Alumni ID Cards
- If you have applied to receive an Alumni ID Card, your application will be considered until May 31, 2019.
- As of June 1, 2019, no new applications will be considered, and no new Alumni ID Cards will be issued.
- No matter the expiration date listed on your Alumni ID Card, ALL issued cards will expire June 30, 2019.
- If you have monies stored on your Alumni ID Card, all monies will be refunded via check from Columbia College Chicago to the card holder’s current address on file with Development and Alumni Relations.
