Alumni on 5: Alumni in the Library Exhibitions Spring 2015
This is an open call for artwork of all media created by ColumAlums that explores the theme What is Yours is Mine.
Alumni of 5 is looking for your paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, designs, installations, videos, music, fashion, performances, or whatever else you create that speaks to What is Yours is Mine.
We want to see the work you’ve been making that feels fresh, new, and exciting!
All submissions must be made electronically to email@example.com and received by midnight on Sunday, March 22nd.
Submissions Due: Sunday, March 22
Notification of acceptance: Monday, March 23
Work drop-off: Monday, April 20 – Wednesday, April 29, 9am-4pm
Work drop-off location: Columbia College Chicago 600 S. Michigan Ave, Alumni Relations, Suite 400, Chicago, IL 60605
Exhibition opens: Friday, May 1
Exhibition reception: Friday, May 1, 5-7pm
Exhibition closes: Sunday, September 20, 2015
Procedure for picking up work will be emailed closer to the date.
Eligibility, Restrictions & Schedule
-All Columbia College Chicago alumni are welcome to submit their original work. Collaborations are welcome. By submitting your work, you acknowledge that you are the sole creator and copyright owner of the work. Alumni must have graduated by Fall 2014.
-Submissions in all mediums are welcome. The artist must provide any special installation equipment or materials for all accepted works.
-All submissions must be made electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org by the midnight Sunday, March 22.
-All accepted works must be available for the duration of the installation and exhibition.
-Columbia College Chicago is not responsible for any damage or loss of artwork throughout duration of exhibition and is not responsible for any work left after the scheduled pick-up date.
What to Submit
-Up to five (5) works may be submitted. Works made up of multiple components will be counted as one entry (such as diptychs).
-Image files should be saved as jpegs at approximately 8"x10", 150 DPI
-Each image must be labeled in the following format: Artist’sName_ImageNumber (example = JohnDoe_01_)
-The completed submission form (next page). (Please save this completed form using ‘Save As’, ‘PDF’)

What is Yours is Mine will be juried by ColumAlum Lisa Lindvay (MFA ’09).
The juror will review all submissions and notify artists of their decision by March 23.
All work must be delivered to the Office of Alumni Relations, ready to install, including any special installation hardware or equipment on one of the the scheduled drop-off dates, Monday, April 20 – Wednesday, April 29, 9am-4pm. Accepted works can be shipped with proper reusable packaging and return postage.
NOTE: if submitting audio or video the artist is responsible for supplying the appropriate media player to present the work.
Columbia College Chicago is not responsible for any damage or loss of artwork throughout duration of exhibition and is not responsible for any work left after the scheduled pick-up date.
