    Are you ready to take control of your finances? Would you like to learn more about budgeting and credit? Good news! Local start-up Next Door partnered with State Farm to offer free financial coaching, and they want to help our Columbia alumni!

    The event will focus on helping you take meaningful action to improve your finances. The financial coach will start with the basics by helping you scope out a budget with an easy-to-use budgeting tool (even if you hate math). Afterwards, the coach will cover the facts and fables of everything from credit reports to credit cards.

    Art After Hours, a city-wide open gallery night, invites the Chicago community and international visitors to experience the city's vibrant art scene.

    This year, we're excited to celebrate Art After Hours with an exclusive Columbia Alumni Social at the newly renovated and relocated ShopColumbia. Located in the Wabash Arts Corridor, ShopColumbia offers the perfect creative atmosphere to reconnect with fellow alumni and friends while enjoying appetizers, beer, and wine. You'll be amazed by the artwork created by students and alumni.

    Additionally, we will host an optional walking tour at 7 p.m. to visit some of the nearby Art After Hours exhibitions.
